Tethered Romance

A common practice you’ll notice throughout Karen’s work is the deconstruction and reconstruction of old books and paper ephemera into something new and visually meaningful. This piece was created as a result of repurposing an old framed piece and transforming it into a hanging sculpture made from vintage romance novels. Made to hang directly from the ceiling or rest delicately upon a pedestal.
