Paper Nests

Influenced by the rolling of paper-thin cookies or “Tuiles,” this piece consists of torn book pages, individually wrapped and dipped in diamond dust, then nestled into a hanging structural foundation. Karen first imagined this piece as a large-scale installation, growing along a wall from floor to ceiling.
